BedCall® Monitor Model BC-03

The model BC-03 BedCall® Monitor utilizes specialized circuitry that not only detects when a patient is in the safe area of the bed, but also detects when the patient is on a potentially unsafe area of the bed such as the edge of the bed.

When a patient is on the edge of the bed it usually means one of two things; the patient is a "rail hugger" or is about to exit the bed. It is the latter which is an obvious precursor to a potential fall. The BC-03 BedCall® Monitor, by virtue of its EdgeSense® Feature, can provide nursing personnel with an early warning before a fall occurs.



Key Benefits

• 1-5 second TIME DELAY to allow restless patients to move about without causing false alarms.
• HOLD feature permits staff personnel to temporarily disable the system so that routine care can be administered without causing an alarm.
• AUTO RESET feature takes over if staff forgets to reset the monitor.
